I’ve been invited to an all night camping party tonight, however I don’t feel like going. Firstly, I don’t own a tent and secondly, it’s raining outside, and I don’t feel like sleeping on wet grass.

I really should go because I have been neglecting my friends this summer, but not on purpose. I’ve been busy with work, and now that I don’t have to work I just want to catch up on all that sleep I have missed.

Since today has been such a dreary day, I stayed in and worked on my blog. I didn’t even play World of Warcraft or Wii Fit, or get out of my pajamas for that matter.

In other news, my family’s replacement washing machine for the new washing machine we bought early this year that never worked, has also broke. So I’ve been privileged enough to hear all day from my Mother, “Twelve towels to be washed at the laundromat! That’s almost all our towels! How many towels do you need in one week?” What she doesn’t know is that also includes towels from the previous week, but she didn’t quite grasp that concept.

Also, I have the newest JG Wentworth commercial stuck in my head. You know, the one with the people singing in the Opera about needing cash now? (If you click on that, you’ll see what I’m talking about.) It’d be sweet if they stopped showing that commercial.

I just awoke (thanks to my Grandmother calling) from such a nice dream that I had to write about it.

I was in the gymnasium with my entire graduating class, and from head to toe we were dressed like we just stepped out of Becoming Jane, or some sort of movie where the ladies are dressed in big fancy gowns. Off to the side of the gym the King and Queen were watching us dance. (I’m not sure who the King and Queen were in my dream, or what they looked like, somehow I never saw their faces very clearly.)

Everyone was doing this traditional dance that they approved of. After doing the same dance several times, I grew tired of it, and so right at the end I broke out into my own crazy dance. The King and Queen were very unimpressed and angry. They made us reform or dancing chain and start again. This time as we started the traditional dance I motioned towards Jake and his best friend, they both nodded.

Everyone broke out into my dance, with me in the dead center. All of a sudden the dream focused entirely on my actions. I lifted up my gorgeous gown and all the many layers I could see of it and I began to shake my bottom at the King and Queen. I sang to them “Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do? I’m still pretty, and you’re still old. I’m still pretty, and you’re still old. I’m still pretty, and you’re still old. I’m still pretty, and you’re still old.”

Then the phone rang and woke me up.

After several hours of procrastinating and cleaning I have finally finished cleaning the disaster known as my room. I took several breaks, many of which were unproductive, but some that were very interesting.

Here it is:

During one of my procrastination breaks, I was looking at the back of my TV and noticed a series of places that perhaps a computer could plug into. So I grabbed my old computer out of the closet and began to play around with cords that I had found in the computer room. Eventually I was able to set it up correctly, so now I can use my TV as a computer monitor. Clearly, I now have the ultimate entertainment center set up.

As you can see, I have my desktop computer, Wii, VCR, and Play Station 2, all going into my Television; while my laptop, stereo, and Nintendo DS are all just kinda hanging around, enjoying being cool on the TV stand. I left my iPod touch on the other side of the room, it’s still trying to fit in with all the other electronics.

Because I have spent a good portion of my summer either working or sleeping, I have neglected to clean my room.

This is the current state it is in.

So I have decided that this afternoon will be dedicated to getting my room and my laptop as clean and organized as possible with the amount of time I have to do it.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had web space, a long while. I’ve been thinking, and I’ve come to the conclussion I am ready for some space. I miss changing things to my liking, having fun writing CSS and learning to be awesome with PHP. I need that freedom again. I need my own domain.
